I also met the Great Buddha in Ueno the other day. It was on a school trip.
Although the Great Buddha was smaller than what had been rumored, it had a very gentle face and was a lovely Great Buddha.
I took many photos, together with my friend, with the Great Buddha in the background.
I like such a thing that symbolizes the culture of old Japan.
Therefore, I am grateful for this reconstruction of the Ueno Great Buddha.
On the way back, I ate the “Great Buddha steamed filled dumplings”. (Mami Yoshida, 3rd grade of junior high school, Miyagi Prefecture)
